Thank you for taking the time to take the Family Values Survey and look at what values are important to you and your family.
You may want to ask your partner/co-parent/husband/wife to also take the survey and compare what you find. Differences in values can lead to conflict, especially if they are assumed to be the same (and you discover they are not!). And equally differences in values can lead to great harmony, especially when you both are aware of what values are important in your lives.
Keep looking at your value systems they can help your family life tremendously, and they can also limit and hinder. You don’t want your values to create pressure to be a certain way, because life itself may not want you to be that way… we cannot know how we are meant to be, nor can we know that for our children.
